Taylor Regional Hospital, an acute care facility, is a private, not-for-profit facility located in Hawkinsville, Georgia. The 25 bed facility was in need of expansion and improvement and called on Lott+Naugle to assist. Following a facility needs assessment, a multi-year addition and renovation program was outlined. Initial critical needs included a new roof and medical gas service improvements.

Currently under design, a new emergency department and central energy plant will increase critical patient care services and prepare the hospital for continued service into the future. The emergency department includes improved patient access, covered arrival canopy, increased exam space, and dedicated isolation facilities. The central energy plant addition increases system capacity and replaces obsolete and underperforming systems that include normal and emergency power as well as mechanical and fire protection systems.
